The city of Waxahachie, Texas, hosts a World War II reenactment in its historic downtown each year as part of the community’s recognition of Veterans Day. The video footage here was shot by Waxahachie Sun multi-media journalist Jo Ann Livingston and Sun contributing photographer Mike Sackett during the 2018 reenactment. During post-production, Sun multi-media journalist Sydney English used Final Cut Pro in giving the finished video its ‘aged’ look.
