Seminar mit Martin Fabian: “Universal Soldat – Heavy assault fencing workshop”

A practical-pragmatical approach to sparring and everyday practice of medieval martial arts. The workshop will cover a more aggresive approach on engaging your opponent. We’ll have a closer look at what “attack is the best defense” really means. We’ll also try to uncover the strategic means of how to engage “running in” and how to behave and think in sparring. Furthermore, we`ll go through the principles the so-called Codex Doebringer suggests every fencer should know and through methods of preparation for sparring and tournaments.
